In addition to allow you to link tables between them via the link to another table, TimeTonic gives you the opportunity to repatriate data through this same link.
If you are familiar with Excel, this is a bit similar to the VLOOKUP formula.
Example
On my table serving as CRM, I want to repatriate the business sectors of companies for which my prospects work.
I have an existing link on this table (I know it with purple tags, indicating that it is a link to another table, in this case, the table "Companies").
I observe that Companies table has the information (the sector column is the data that I want to display on my CRM table).
Process
Create a new column :
In the pop up window, choose "column of a linked table".
Select the link to another table on which you want to base you search (in this case, "current company") then select the column you want to repatriate (here, "sector").
TimeTonic will then search for the existing data in the column of the linked table and bring it back to your table.
