A card allows to visualize the different data of the current view.
Basically, it does not have a particular organization, if it is not displayed in the order of the columns:
Organize a card
It is possible to organize the content of a card as a drop down section called : accordion.
Cards sections are determined by column groups.
Create a group
Click on column options you want to group and click on Modify :
At the bottom of the column name, there is an empty field named Group by :
This field must be informed with the name of the group which will determine the name of the accordion :
Note : to validate the name of the group, you must :
1. Click on + Add a new option : followed by the group name
2. Click on Ok to validate changes
Display a column group in a card (unique column)
As explained above, the groups of columns determine the accordions of the cards. In our example we created the General column group, here is its representation :
The General accordion was created. For now, it contains only the Year column.
Add an existing group to a column
In the column options, double-click in the Group by field:
Select the existing group
Click on Ok to record your modification
Displaying a column group in a form (multiple columns)
In my example, my column group now includes two columns in my accordion (Year and Colour):
In the same way, I can create new groups of columns that will be visible in an accordion of my sheet :
Note : by default, accordions are not unfolded. Just click on them to unwind them, and click a second time to open them (and vice versa):
Good to know
The columns of the same group must be grouped together in the table, they must follow each others to be displayed correctly in their accordion form.
