It is possible to create pivot tables in TimeTonic (also called summary table, grid, matrix) in one click. 

It is a very useful functionality which permits to generate a synthesis of datas in one table.

Create a summary table

To create a pivot table, click on the table options and click on summary : create pivot table :

You must name your table. By default, TimeTonic will name it Summary followed by the name of the table :

Once you validate by clicking on Ok, the summary table (distinguishable by the symbol ) will be created in a new tab of the visual data base.

Set a summary table

Once the table created, you can choose columns used as rows, columns or values :

• Rows (ordinates)
• Columns (absciss)
• Values (content of the cells)

Note that if the value field is of numeric type, the sum of the values ​​will be automatically performed, by cell but also by column and row.

If the field is not numeric, the array will contain the grid or matrix of values ​​found, creating a separate line if necessary.
